During the May 13th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Ronda Rousey issued an open challenge for the SmackDown women's title and Raquel Rodriguez has answered the call.
The fans enjoyed Ronda Rousey vs Raquel Rodriguez -- they gave Raquel a lot in this match, they made her look dominant and powerful as well. I hope, there is a potential showdown between both superstars somewhere along the line and I would love to see Raquel defeat Ronda.
Ronda won by rolling up Rodriguez but it was clear that WWE sees big things in Rodriguez because she was protected. They made sure to give Rodriguez a lot of offense with near falls and she was not booked to lose via tap out. Rodriguez and Rousey shook hands after the match.
