Rising star Raquel Rodriguez was slated to team with Shotzi against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler this past week on SmackDown, but just before the match took place, Rodriguez got injured when she was attacked backstage by Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey.
During the attack, Shayna Baszler held onto Raquel's arm long enough for Rousey to smash it with backstage equipment. Shotzi single-handedly took over Baszler and Ronda, and the match continued. However, Raquel returned to the ring after injuring her left arm, but this made it easy for Ronda to apply an armbar for the win.
After the match, it was revealed by Shotzi that Rodríguez suffered a broken arm and a dislocated elbow as a result of the beatings and serious injuries in the match.
