Wrestling World Mourns The Loss Of Tiny Lister Aka Zeus

Thee is really unfortunate news to report, Tiny Lister who is probably better known as Debo from Friday and WWE Zeus passed away at 62.

Most probably known for his roles as the neighborhood bully Deebo in the 1995 film Friday and its 2000 sequel and as President Lindberg in The Fifth Element has left an impression on the world of wrestling - Many wrestling personalities paid their honors upon hearing the news.



Zelina Vega took to her Twitter and wrote,"#RipTommyLister Pleading faceBroken heartFolded hands for so many reasons, we love you and you’ll be missed. #Tiny #Deebo."

















Lister was found dead at his home in Marina Del Rey, California, on December 10, 2020. The cause of his death was not immediately known, but in the days preceding his death, he had fallen ill with symptoms of COVID-19, which forced him to cancel shooting for a film. He was 62 years old.

He had two short professional wrestling stints, wrestling Hulk Hogan in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) after appearing as Zeus in the 1989 movie No Holds Barred and resuming the feud as Z-Gangsta in 1996 for World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He was blind in his right eye.
