AJ Styles will step back into the ring with his WrestleMania 38 opponent in the hopes of disbarring the self-appointed judge Edge. Damian Priest will be barred from ringside during the match. The development comes after AJ defeated Priest on the may 2nd edition of WWE RAW.
WrestleMania Backlash streams live, Sunday, May 8, from Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The event airs at 8 ET/5 PT on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.

No distraction, here we go, both go with exchanges of forearms, Styles backs Edge into the turnbuckle. Styles sends Edge to the floor and plants him into the ringside barrier, Styles sends Edge into the announce desk.
Styles sends Edge back to the ring, but Edge once again slides out, Styles with a Basement Dropkick to take Edge down. Styles stays on the apron and follows up a Moonsault.
AJ sets for the Phenomenal Forearm but Edge kicks AJ on the springboard move and AJ holds his injured arm. Edge sends AJ shoulder first into the ring post and stairs.
Edge goes back to the floor to send AJ's shoulder into the ring steps. He returns to the ring and Edge kicks AJ in the shoulder. Edge with an arm ringer and he sends AJ to the mat. AJ with punches but Edge with Divorce Court. Edge gets a near fall. Edging with a hand bar. AJ backs Edge into the corner and Edge hits a hot shot to AJ.
AJ with clotheslines and a sliding forearm. AJ with a splash in the corner and he gets Edge over his shoulders but he can't keep him up. AJ for a near fall with a face plant. AJ puts Edge on the turnbuckle.
AJ With a Frankensteiner and he almost falls. AJ for a near fall with an Ushigoroshi. AJ from knee to elbow. The palm hits the shoulder with the edge and goes for the edge Crossface. AJ goes for the calf crusher and he locks it inside.
Styles hits the Styles Clash for near fall. Styles went to the top rope and Priest arrived by the ramp. Finn Balor ran down to ringside and attacked Priest. A mystery man then knocked Styles off the top rope and Edge applied a sleeper hold submission. Styles passed out and Edge was declared the winner.
