The venomous and bitter feud between Edge and Finn Bálor can only reach its conclusion inside the unforgiving Hell in a Cell structure at WrestleMania.
Nearly a year ago, Edge founded The Judgment Day faction alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, only to have it stolen away from him in a brutal manner by Finn Bálor. Since then, the Rated-R-Superstar has been on a relentless mission to dismantle the very group he created. He has faced Priest in his hometown of Toronto, helped Rey Mysterio defeat The Judgment Day at SummerSlam, and even engaged in an "I Quit" Match against Bálor at WWE Extreme Rules.
Despite Edge's best efforts, The Judgment Day has continued to grow stronger, most notably with the addition of Dominik Mysterio to its ranks. In their match at Extreme Rules, the menacing faction forced Edge to utter the words "I Quit" before delivering a Con-Chair-To to his wife Beth Phoenix, taking her out of action. The Grit Couple ultimately returned to defeat Bálor and Ripley at WWE Elimination Chamber, but The Prince remained intent on inflicting punishment on The Ultimate Opportunist.
As their rivalry continued to intensify, Edge officially challenged Bálor to a match at WrestleMania on the March 13th episode of Raw, with the added twist that their battle will take place inside the daunting Hell in a Cell structure.
Edge has plenty of experience inside Hell in a Cell, having emerged victorious against Seth "Freakin" Rollins at Crown Jewel 2021 and in a legendary contest against The Undertaker at SummerSlam 2008. Meanwhile, Bálor will be stepping inside the Devil's Playground for the first time. WrestleMania has not hosted a Hell in a Cell match since The Undertaker's triumph over Shane McMahon seven years ago at WrestleMania 32.
According to the latest betting odds, Edge at -160 is the favorite to win against Finn Balor who stands at +120.
