At SummerSlam, Ronda Rousey will look to dethrone new SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan in what promises to be a slugfest!
At Money in the Bank, Liv Morgan won the women's Money in the Bank ladder match to earn a women's championship match contract of her choosing. After Ronda Rousey retained the SmackDown Women's Championship later that same night, Morgan ran out and used the contract to cash in on Rousey and win the title. On the following SmackDown, it was announced that Morgan would defend the title in a rematch against Rousey at SummerSlam.

The Bell rings, and they set up a lock, Ronda takes Morgan down, Ronda with a massive knee, and quickly for the Ankle lock, but Morgan escapes. Morgan lands her own kicks. Morgan with a Double knee as Ronda pops out.
Ronda Is now transitioning the Armbar, but Morgan instead turns the table on Ronda, she gets her own Armbar, Morgan with a Sweep move for the cover, but kicks out easily. Liv is already favoring on. Ronda goes out, while, Morgan is still recovering into the ring. Morgan backs in and puts on Armbar, but everytime she is getting failed.
