Los Angeles, February 2, 2023 - The biggest wrestling company in the world is all set to bring its signature event WrestleMania 39 to Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium in April of this year and the event is already proving to be a benefactor for the company.

According to WWE senior VP and head of global sales and partnerships Craig Stimmel who appeared revealed to The Hollywood Reporter, the company’s sponsorship revenue is already 43 percent up than it was for the entirety of WrestleMania 38. Sponsorship revenue currently stands at between $14 million-$15 million, which will be a new record for the event.

There are plans from WWE to incorporate sponsorships into Wrestlemania as they did at Royal Rumble by listing the first-ever Pitch Black Match.

“I don’t want to give away too much, but it’ll be around a match, and the sponsorship of that match, and what they’ll be able to bring to that match,” he said. “So we’re going to do things that fit inside of our storyline as well.”

As of writing, the biggest event of the year has clinched two big matches including Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Plush, Charlotte Flair will put her WWE Raw Women's Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley.
