Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus for Intercontinental Title opportunity

The March 10 edition of SmackDown opened up with a Fatal Five-Way Number One Contender's Match. The finish of the match was peculiar with Drew and Sheamus doing a double-pin finish, with the two referees raising Sheamus and McIntyre's hands. The fans broke into a "triple threat" chant.

Later on the show, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were also seen arguing about the double-pin finish and who should challenge Gunther at WrestleMania. However, things got shorted by Pearce who made the call for McIntyre and Sheamus to face each other next week, with the winner being granted an opportunity for the Intercontinental Title against Gunther at WrestleMania.

So, this coming Friday, the Warriors will clash for the Intercontinental Title opportunity.

WINNER PREDICTION: Drew McIntyre

Sami Zayn to confront Jey Uso
