WWE Women's Championship Match: Asuka(c) Vs. Bianca Belair
Next week on SmackDown, Asuka is set to defend the WWE Women's Championship against Bianca Belair.
On the July 7th edition of SmackDown, Asuka confidently declared that no one was adequately prepared to face her. However, Bianca Belair promptly emerged and countered Asuka's statement by launching an aggressive assault on her. The scene escalated when Charlotte Flair swiftly rushed to the scene and engaged in a fierce brawl with Belair.
Meanwhile, Asuka made her way towards the top rope. However, just as she was about to execute her move, the resourceful SKY intervened, disrupting her plans. SKY, alongside Bayley, proceeded to ruthlessly incapacitate Asuka, leaving her vulnerable. With the opportunity seemingly presenting itself, SKY contemplated cashing in her briefcase.
Belair seized Bayley and forcibly dragged her out of the ring, while Charlotte executed a powerful boot to SKY, preventing her from capitalizing on the moment. Consequently, SKY's attempt to cash in was thwarted, leaving her empty-handed. Later that night, it was announced that Asuka will defend her championship against Belair next week on SmackDown.
