Here is the full Match Card for this week's Friday Night edition which is scheduled to air on December 9, 2022, live from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Confirmed Match Card

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship Match: Sheamus, Butch Vs. The Usos

This Friday's SmackDown will see a Tag Team Match with Sheamus and Butch challenging for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship.

Originally, Drew McIntyre was set to team with Sheamus in the title showdown. Following the news that McIntyre had ruptured his eardrum and would not be medically cleared to take part in the match, Butch was named as a replacement to team with his fellow Brawling Brute in the high-stakes matchup.

Singles Match: Shotzi vs. Shayna Bazler

Shotzi will face Shayna Baszler. Recently, Baszler and Ronda Rousey have been feuding with Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez. This week also, Shotzi and Baszler got involved in a brawl after Shayna Baszler defeated Emma via Submission.

Following the match, Baszler attempted to attack Emma after the match. Meanwhile, Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez hit the ring to confront Baszler, who promptly avoided a 3-on-1 attack.

Kurt Angle Birthday Celebration

Plush, next week will be a birthday celebration for WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. Recently, Kurt Angle was quoted as saying he would be open to doing a tag team match in the future.

Predicted Match Card

Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman Vs. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci

Last week on Friday, Fresh off being the first competitor to declare for the Royal Rumble Match, Kofi Kingston battled Intercontinental Champion Gunther, with the high-flying former WWE Champion immediately using his speed to his advantage.

Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci caused a distraction, allowing Gunther to knock down Kofi, but their actions prompted Braun Strowman to appear and neutralize the numbers advantage. With both men clearly spent, Gunther mustered the energy to plant Kingston with the Last Symphony to finally claim the victory.

Tegan Nox & Liv Morgan Vs. Bayley & IYO SKY

Liv Morgan confronted the brash and arrogant Damage CTRL, but the numbers game was not in her favor. Suddenly, Tegan Nox exploded back onto the WWE scene in jaw-dropping fashion and saved Morgan from the beatdown.

Nox briefly unloaded on all three members of Damage CTRL before Bayley and company overwhelmed the returning Superstar and began to put the boots to her. Seconds later, however, Morgan blasted the menacing trio with savage Kendo stick strikes, and Nox clobbered Bayley with the Shiniest Wizard.
