Here's everything you need to know about the 2024 Royal Rumble event happening on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, Florida.

The event will have two traditional Men's and Women's Royal Rumble matches, and the winners get a shot at a world championship match at WrestleMania. But in 2024, the winners of these matches can pick which championship they want to go for at WrestleMania XL.



In the 2024 event, the winners of both the men's and women's matches earn the privilege of selecting which championship to vie for at WrestleMania XL. The male winners can opt to contend for either Raw's World Heavyweight Championship or SmackDown's Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Similarly, the female champions have the option to choose between Raw's Women's World Championship and SmackDown's WWE Women's Championship.

WWE United States Championship Match: Logan Paul(c) vs. Kevin Owens

At the upcoming Royal Rumble event, the United States Champion, Logan Paul, is set to defend his title against the former U.S. Champion, Kevin Owens, marking Paul's first title defense.

KO secured his spot in this title bout by triumphing in the U.S. Title Tournament. His journey included victories over Austin Theory, Carmelo Hayes, and Santos Escobar, culminating in Owens claiming the tournament victory. Following his intense battle against Escobar, Owens found himself face-to-face with The Social Media Megastar, Logan Paul. Owens didn't shy away from the confrontation, responding by delivering a knockout blow to Paul with his cast.

Roman Reigns, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, will defend his title in a challenging Fatal 4-Way Match against formidable opponents – Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight.

Initially, Knight, Styles, and Orton engaged in a fierce Triple Threat Match to determine the contender who would face Reigns in a one-on-one showdown at the Royal Rumble. However, the situation took a dramatic turn when The Bloodline intervened, aiming to disrupt the competition. In response, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis decided that a Fatal 4-Way Match would be the most fitting resolution to settle the dispute.

Royal Rumble 2024: Date and start time In UK The card will begin from 1am in the UK and continue into the early hours. There will be a pre-show on for two hours first from 11pm which will be shown for FREE on WWE’s YouTube channel.

The Rumble will be shown on pay-per-view TV in the UK and is on BT Sport Box Office – coverage will begin at 1am.
