WWE Raw 5/9 Results: Cody Rhodes Vs Theory Full Match & Winner

Tonight on Monday Night Raw, United States Champion Theory defended his title against Cody Rhodes. You can check out the full match recap below;

Cody Rhodes comes out first, back from the commercial break...we have a look back at Cody Rhodes Vs. Seth Rollins at WrestleMania Backlash.



...The music hits as the United States Champion Theory marches towards the ring.

A "Cody" chant is echoing through the arena, the bell rings, and Theory takes Cody back into the turnbuckle. We are under a minute above and nothing big has happened. Cody stumbles on the apron, Theory uses ropes to cause damage...Theory comes out back to the ring and hits a Dropkick.

Theory rips Cody into the turnbuckle...Theory with punches, Theory hits a beautiful Snap Suplex for the cover but kicks out. Looks like Cody's knee is injured. Cody with a High-flying kick to drop Theory off the apron.



Cody is on the apron, and he is dropped by Theory. He cleans up the announce table and gets Cody on it, but Cody is able to save himself and runs punches to the back. They fight on the table and Theory gets back in the ring.

Back from the commercial break...Cody Vs. Theory is on, Theory is holding on a chin lock, Cody powers out, both men are looking for Crossbody, and they crash. Cody with a Crossbody followed by a Powerslam for the cover, but Theory kicks out.

Cody goes up to the top and performs a Moonsault for the cover 1..2..., Theory kicks out.



Theory misses a punch, but gets an elbow quickly, Theory gets Cody up and hits an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. Cody with Beautiful Disaster followed by a Cody Cutter.

Seth Rollins attacks Cody from behind and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Cody Rhodes via disqualification--Theory retains title
