WWE NXT is set to present this year's The Great American Bash which would return as a special episode of NXT, thus becoming an annual event for the brand.

Instead of a two-night event like the previous year, it will only be a one-night event, airing on July 6, 2021. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held at the Capitol Wrestling Center, hosted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.



Confirmed Match Card

Adam Cole Vs. Kyle O’Reilly

The very first match announced for the event is Kyle Vs. Adam Cole in a Singles matchup.



As announced Adam Cole will face Kyle O’Reilly in a singles competition. However, The match is a rematch of their encounter from NXT Takeover Stand and Deliver which happened under Unsanctioned rules.

The match was officially added to the Bash card after Cole and O’Reilly were found brawling backstage tonight on NXT. The brawl continued until it was broken up by Samoa Joe who is the new assist for Regal.

NXT Tag-Team Titles Match: MSK vs Ciampa & Thatcher

MSK vs Ciampa/Thatcher for the tag titles is set for the Great American Bash.

Staring a potential matchup with Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher in the face, Nash Carter & Wes Lee are as certain as ever. The match was officially announced on June 22, 2021, episode of NXT.

WWE NXT Women's Tag-Team Titles Match: Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell(c) Vs. Io Shirai and Zoey Stark

The WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles are officially up to grab at the Great American Bash. NXT go-home saw a Triple Threat match to crown new #1 contenders to NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell of The Way.

The match saw Io Shirai and Zoey Stark defeat the team of Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon and Dakota Kai and NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. Thus, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell of The Way will put their titles on the line at The Great American Bash.

Million Dollar Championship: LA Knight(c) Vs. Cameron Grimes

The following match revealed on NXT go-home show. On the show, Cameron Grimes and LA Knight agreed to face off one more time at Great American Bash on July 6.

The match will see an additional stipulation If Grimes wins, he will secure the Million Dollar Championship. If LA Knight wins, Grimes will become his butler.

Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano to meet face-to-face

It's has been now confirmed that WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano will meet face-to-face at Great American Bash.

The challenge was first issued by Gargano with the following statement:

"Last week Kross tried to hit me with a car.. You think I was just going to let that go? I'll be at the Great American Bash. No tricks, no games, no smoke and mirrors. Meet me face to face. I'm going to smack the taste outta your mouth." Kross replied, relating Gargano to “bugs that crawl in and out of dog crap” before accepting Gargano’s invitation.

Hit Row to host Championship Cypher

Plush, Newly crowned NXT North American Champion Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and Hit Row will host a Championship Cypher to celebrate their first taste of NXT gold Tuesday at NXT Great American Bash.
