With the exception of the September 2018 event, Hell in a Cell had been held in October. The 2021 event, however, moved the event series up to June, with the 2022 event scheduled for June 5 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois.
The event will air on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and will be available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally. It’s expected that some of the biggest names in the company will be on the card, including Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair.

Asuka is the #1 contender for Bianca Belair’s RAW Women’s Championship.
Bianca Belair has been waiting for a suitable challenge for her WWE Raw Women's Championship since defeating Sonya Deville several weeks ago. Now, she has that Challenger as Asuka defeated Becky Lynch on Monday, May 16 to earn the right to face Bianca at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

Hell in a Cell Match: Seth Rollins Vs. Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will finish their rivalry inside of Hell in a Cell.
At night 1 of WrestleMania 38, Rhodes was revealed as Seth "Freakin" Rollins' surprise opponent, making his return to WWE after six years; Rhodes ended up defeating Rollins. Rhodes subsequently defeated Rollins once more in a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash.
However, WWE wouldn't like to stop the storyline as they have announced one more showdown, but this time inside Hell In A Cell. On the May 16th edition of Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins both agreed to have this match.

The following match was teased on RAW and I think that it could make for a really fun match. On May 9th edition of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan. Then, with a nod from Edge after the bell, Ripley reapplied the devastating submission maneuver and made Morgan screen in pain.
Tag Team Title Unification Match: The Usos vs RK-Bro
RK-Bro wants to unify the Tag Team Titles and they would like to have it at Hell In A Cell 2022.
Prior to the Raw Tag Team Titles showdown against The Street Profits on May 9, 2022, RK-Bro made it clear that they are heading to SmackDown on Friday to confront The Bloodline and demand a title showdown against the Usos.
If this is happening, I would like to have it in a Hell In A Cell Match, because these sorts of Tag matches create a huge buzz among the fans and they are bound to do when it's RK-Bro.
