Here is the full match card and everything you need to know about "Clash at the Castle" which takes place on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

This will mark WWE's first major stadium event to take place in the United Kingdom (UK) since the 1992 SummerSlam. The event's title is a reference to it taking place in the UK. The event will air on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and will be available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally.



On April 29, 2022, during a WWE Live event at London's O2 Arena, WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre revealed the event's title as Clash at the Castle.

In the first 24 hours after the program's initial announcement on 12 April, it was reported that 59,000 people had pre-registered for tickets. This broke a company record with more fans registering for pre-sale tickets than any other WWE event, including the promotion's flagship event, WrestleMania.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns Vs. Drew McIntyre

The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship will be up to grab at WWE Clash at the Castle. On the July 8 episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre was scheduled to face Sheamus to determine who would challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle.

As Sheamus feigned illness, the match did not occur. The match was later rescheduled for the July 29 episode as a "Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook" match, in which McIntyre won. At SummerSlam the following night, Roman Reigns retained the undisputed title, thus confirming that Reigns would be the defending champion against McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.



WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Liv Morgan Vs. Shayna Baszler

SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan will put her title on the line against the dangerous Shayna Baszler at WWE Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.On the first SmackDown after The Biggest Event of the Summer, Baszler overcame Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah, Shotzi, Xia Li, Natalya and Sonya Deville to win the right to challenge Morgan at the historic event on Sept. 3 in Cardiff, Wales.

Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Bianca Belair vs. Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky

Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai kicked off the August 8 edition of WWE Raw. Bayley hampered on about Kai and SKY winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship tournament before Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Bianca Belair interrupted.

Bliss noted that Kai and SKY will most likely run into herself and Asuka in the second round of the tournament before challenging the trio to a six women tag match.



Bayley noted that while she was willing to do the match, she didn't want to do it in Cleveland of all places. Instead, Bayley issued the challenge for the match to happen at the upcoming Clash At The Castle pay-per-view. The opposing trio accepted before a brawl between both teams broke out.

Singles Match: Seth Rollins Vs. Riddle

Riddle will go one-on-one with Seth “Freakin” Rollins at WWE Clash at the Castle in a quest for payback. They were supposed to throw down at SummerSlam, Riddle found himself not medically cleared to compete, and the contest never took place.

Riddle has since been sidelined with a stinger injury after Rollins Stomped him into the steel ring steps. Before he could give his return address on the Aug. 15 edition of Raw, however, The Visionary made an unexpected appearance.

After Rollins continued to mock his adversary, The Original Bro ultimately stormed the ring and ignited a huge brawl with his adversary. In the wake of the free-for-all, Riddle challenged Rollins to a showdown at WWE Clash at the Castle.



Intercontinental Championship Match: Gunther Vs Sheamus

Sheamus could finally become a grand slam champion at WWE Clash at the Castle. Sheamus defeated four other competitors, Sami Zayn, Ricochet, Baron Corbin, and Madcap Moss, to earn the opportunity to face Gunther in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday, September 3.

Edge & Rey Mysterio vs. The Judgment Day

Edge and Rey Mysterio are set to take on the Judgement Day duo of Damian Priest and Finn Balor at Clash At The Castle. This tag bout will continue the long standing rivalry between The Mysterios/Edge and the Judgement Day, a rivalry that has spanned over the summer.

On the August 22 edition of Raw, Edge was able to defeat Damian Priest in singles action. On tonight's show, The Judgement Day defeated AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler in the opening segment of the show. A short time after, Edge arrived to the arena and ran down The Judgement Day on the mic, which would lead to a brawl between the two sides.

In the United States, Clash at the Castle starts at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT. Usually, WWE's shows in the United States starts at 7 PM or 8 PM ET, but since this show will happen overseas, the start timing is for afternoon 1 PM ET.
