Here is the full match card for WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021 which is set to take place on May 16, 2021, live from the WWE ThunderDome, hosted at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

It will be the 16th event in the Backlash chronology and will be WWE's first pay-per-view to present the ThunderDome from the Yuengling Center during the COVID-19 pandemic, following a four-month residency at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.



The main event features a Triple threat match for the WWE Championship between Bobby Lashley(c) (with MVP) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman. Plush, Roman Reigns (c) defends The Universal Title against Cesaro.

Other matches include the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship match between Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley. Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair in a Triple threat match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship.

WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021 Confirmed Match Card



WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns(c) Vs. Cesaro

Cesaro will get the title shot against Roman Reigns For The Universal Championship at WWE WrestleMania Backlash. It should be noted that This will be the main event match of WWE WrestleMania.

The match between Cesaro Vs. Seth Rollins on SmackDown was supposed to be a singles match, but as announced by Teddy Long, If Cesaro beats Seth Rollins, he'll get a WWE Universal Title match at WrestleMania Backlash against Roman Reigns.



During the match, The Uso put a little bit of help, apparently for Cesaro. Cesaro would perform the neutralizer to win the match.

WWE Championship Match: Bobby Lashley(c) Vs. Drew McIntyre Vs. Braun Strowman

The WWE Championship will be on the line at this event as Bobby Lashley defends it against Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat match.

As noted, on April 12, 2021, episode of Raw, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, and Randy Orton came forward stacking their points. This would give Adam Pearce a perfect form to Come out and Confirm a Triple Threat Match including Drew Vs. Braun Vs. Randy, the winner goes on to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash.

Drew McIntrye was able to defeat Braun Strowman and Randy Orton to be the #1 contender to challenge Bobby Lashley for a rematch at Backlash. On April 26, 2021, episode of Raw, Drew McIntyre faced off against Braun Strowman with the stipulation being added, if Strowman won, he would be added to the WWE Title match at the Wrestlemania Backlash PPV.

Braun Strowman picked up the win with a little help from T-Bar and Mace.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Bianca Belair Vs. Bayley

The E-S-T of SmackDown will now put her coveted title on the line against Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash.

Bayley as The longest-reigning SmackDown Women's Champion in history will look forward to getting something back which she had connected before losing to Sasha Banks at Hell in a Cell.

After being embarrassed by WWE Hall of Famers Bella Twins on The Grandest Stage of Them All, The Role Model will surely be motivated to remind everyone of just how good she really is against the dynamic new titleholder.

WWE Raw Women's Championship Match: Rhea Ripley(c) Vs. Charlotte Flair Vs. Asuka

In the wake of a landscape-shifting WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair made her successful return and put Rhea Ripley and Asuka on notice.

On April 12, 2021 episode of Raw, Rhea Ripley Vs. Asuka was announced in a rematch for the Raw Women's Championship, but the ended via DQ due to the vicious attack from Charlotte Flair.

It turns out it was exactly the right time for The Queen to lay waste to both competitors. It was initially announced that Rhea Ripley will put the Raw Women's Championship on the line against Asuka in a WrestleMania rematch at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

However, WWE official Sonya Deville confirmed that Charlotte Flair would also be added to WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

SmackDown Tag-Team Championship: Dominik Mysterio & Rey Mysterio Vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode

WWE SmackDown Tag-Team Championship will be on the line at WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021.

Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio as the Tag-Team will look to settle the score against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in a SmackDown Tag-Team Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash.

The match was made official during SmackDown "Throwback Edition".

Lumberjack Match: Damian Preist Vs. The Miz(w/John Morrison)

It's official, The Archer of Infamy will go head to head with non-other than The Miz this Sunday at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

Miz vs. Priest was announced during go-home RAW. This will apparently put an end to the lengthy feud between Priest and The Miz. Adam Pearce has ruled that Priest can pick the stipulation if he wins, but Morrison can pick the stipulation if he wins.

Damian Priest defeated John Morrison and announced that he will take on The Miz in a Lumberjack Match.

Raw Tag-Team Championship Match: The Viking Raiders Vs. AJ Styles & Omos

I guess you won't turn away from accepting The Viking Raiders Vs. AJ Styles & Omos. The shocking return of The Viking Raiders shook Raw to its core and bulldozed Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin in the process.

The Viking Raiders previously captured the Raw Tag Team Championship from Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler On the October 14 episode of Raw.
