Christian Cage turned on Jungle Boy to put on a great ending to the AEW Dynamite Road Ragger on June 15. Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy) lost the AEW Tag Team Titles to The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) in the main event.
After the bout, Christian and the Doctor were helping Jungle Boy out of the ring when Christian pulled Jungle Boy back in and hit the killswitch.
Christian then added insult to injury by connecting with a Conchairto to Jungle Boy.
Christian and Jungle Boy has been in mutual respect since Casino Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing 2021, when Christian showed mutual respect for Jungle Boy, after he won the matc. Since then, Christian has served as the manager, mentor and tag team partner for Jungle Boy until Wednesday.
