Two of the hell competitors had a showdown at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver to define the NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

As noted, Devlin, won the title in a Fatal 4-Way Match last January at WWE Worlds Collide. Devlin stated that NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar’s time “playing make believe” with the title was over — a comment that clearly irked Escobar, given the conversation we saw between him and NXT General Manager William Regal.



Tonight’s NXT “Takeover: Stand and Deliver” Night Two opened with Escobar defeating Jordan Devlin in a Ladder Match to unify the two Cruiserweight Titles.
