UFC Fight Night: Covington vs. Woodley is coming up on the way that is now set to take place on September 19, 2020, at a TBD venue in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States.

former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and former interim champion Colby Covington to serve as the event headliner for UFC on ESPN: Munhoz vs. Edgar, but Woodley announced that the date did not provide him with time suitable enough to prepare because of injuries incurred during his most recent fight.



Now, UFC Fight Night is expected to include Covington vs. Woodley in the main event of the night. Woodley faced Gilbert Burns on May 30, 2020, in the main event at UFC on ESPN: Woodley vs. Burns. He lost the bout via unanimous decision with judges scores of 50-45, 50-44, and 50-44.

Woodley has fought off 25 matches including 19 wins with 5 losses. He has been on the continuing loss of his last two fights. Now, He is scheduled to fight Colby Covington on the 19th September 2020.

Covington faced Kamaru Usman for the UFC Welterweight Championship on December 14, 2019, at UFC 245. Covington sustained a left mandibular fracture as a result of a strike by Usman in the third round and was knocked down twice in the fifth round.
