A UFC Flyweight Championship tetralogy bout between current two-time champion Deiveson Figueiredo and former champion/current interim title holder Brandon Moreno is set to co-headline the UFC 283 on January 21, 2023, at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Main Card will air exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S. at 10pm ET / 7pm PT.
UFC 283 Results: Deiveson Figueiredo Vs. Brandon Moreno Full Fight
FIRST ROUND: The first round between Figueiredo and Brandon is underway. Both fighters look prepared for the fight. The co-main event kicks off with a Takedown from Brandon, but he looks in deep trouble. Figueiredo has his left arm around his neck of Brandon. Brandon with a nice strength and gets up.
Figueiredo lands a Front kick, but offense, Brandon with a nice Body kick. The crowd looks fired up, No big-time offense for the time being. Both fighters are waiting to open up with a big one. Figueiredo with a leg kick. Figueiredo goes for a Takedown, but Brandon handles it in a smart way. Brandon with a nice takedown. Figueiredo goes for Heel lock, but Brandon is doing a nice job by keeping his ankle away. Figueiredo kicks Brandon on the ground, Brandon takes the issues.
SECOND ROUND: round two is underway, Brandon throws a kick, but this time Figueiredo catches and goes for Takedown to the octagon side. Nice work from Brandon as he makes it back on his feet. Figueiredo is a little big busted on his left eye. Leg attack from Brandon. Jab landed by Brandon.
Brandon approaches for a Takedown, but Figueiredo stays back on his feet. Now, Brandon goes for another Takedown, but Figueiredo with a nice Switch almost gets him submitted into a guillotine choke. Brandon is able to save his head and he gets on the top. The round ends here.
THIRD ROUND: A Right hand from Brandon, while, Figueiredo is chopping some jabs. Left hands landed for Brandon, a big swing from Brandon, but Figueiredo saves it. Brandon with a BIG PUNCH!, Figueiredo calls for an Eye poke, but the fight continues. Brandon takes him down and gets on his chest, Figueiredo is busted open.
Probably a big round for Brandon. After a lot of scrambling from Figueiredo, Brandon once again gains control. Brandon connects with some elbows on the ground. Brandon shoots some big left hands while keeping him on the ground. The Third Round ends here.
Brandon Moreno wins the belt back. Doctor stops the fight after Figgy can’t open his right eye. Gnarly gash. 100% clean push. Moreno was up 3-0.
