The Top ranked lightweights Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler are set to clash in a can’t-miss bout on the main card.

Dustin Poirier Vs. Michael Chandler takes place on November 12, 2022, at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, United States. The event kicks off Saturday, November 12 at 6pm ET / 3pm PT in the United States on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass.



The Prelims air at 8pm ET / 5pm PT on ESPNews and the Main Card will air exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S. at 10pm ET / 7pm PT.

Round 1: Chandler started kicking to the body with a left hand from Poirier. Chandler's first takedown attempt lands. Poirier checked the leg kick and Chandler realized. Poirier stays on the edge of Chandler's punches as he star targets the body.



Chandler plants it hard shot, backing Poirier to the fence. Straight left scores to Poirier. Chandler swings big and adds a right hand. Another right from Poirier gets Chandler's attention. Chandler moves on, throwing the bomb. Poirier raises his hand but gets too many hard punches.

There is a Takedown from Chandler. Poirier almost has Poirier's back as Poirier stands against the fence, they are back on their feet. Chandler lands a big suplex. Poirier is pressing forward in the last minute.

He lands an uppercut and follows with more strikes, Chandler fires back, Poirier reconnects and Chandler stumbles briefly. Poirier timing power punch with less than 10 seconds off. Huge elbow before the buzzer.



Round 2: Chandler advances with lunging punches, then levels up for a takedown and gets it. Chandler is working on the top. Dustin throws up a triangle, but Chandler snuffs out that effort.

Chandler is now on the back. There is a flow of floor from Chandler. Poirier is just covered up with that. Poirier works to bring Chandler back to his full guard, but Chandler neutralizes him for the majority of this round.

Hammer punches Poirier in the head. It looks like Poirier is trapped. This is a Big round for Chandler. Chandler dominates round 2.

What a bounceback round for Iron Mike.

Round 3: Poirier starts off the fight with a Leg kick. Chandler looks faint in the third round, but Dustin remains aggressive. Leg single by Chandler, Poirier tries to spread, but Chandler powers him down for a slam.

Poirier scrambles to get to the top position before landing a few punches. He's on Chandler's back now with a body triangle. Poirier makes it to the choke. Dustin gets his hand around his neck of Chandler and there's a tap.
