AEW had originally planned for Thunder Rosa to defend the AEW Women's Title against Tony Storm at All Out, but had to pull it out due to a back injury.
Instead, Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida, and Storm vied in a four-way to determine an interim AEW Women’s World Champion at Sunday’s All Out pay-per-view event, with Storm coming out on top.
Speaking to the media after the All Out Media scandal, Storm hinted that Rosa might not be injured.
"I mean, it's not ideal, but Thunder Rosa says she's injured. Okay, so when she says she's not injured, she can come back and lose to me, and that will be the end of that."
