Toni Storm Claims She Is Ready To Beat Thunder Rosa To Retain Her Championship

Auckland, October 17, 2022 - Here is the latest update concerning the interim AEW Women's World Championship, when AEW star Toni Storm recently claimed that she is officially all set to dominate Thunder Rosa.

Earlier this year during AEW All Out, Toni Storm became the interim AEW Women's World Champion after dominating Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker, and Jamie Hayter in a four-way match. Then the requirement to crown an interim champion came after Thunder Rosa, who is still the official AEW Women's World Champion.

Indeed, Storm has been a consistent presence in AEW programming since winning the belt, as she has defended the title on numerous occasions. During a new interview with Bleacher Report, Storm proclaimed that she is ready to defeat Rosa and remove the interim title from her championship reign.

As Toni Storm noted:

"I guess my first thing would be to beat Thunder Rosa and stop this interim nonsense. That's kind of what's been bothering me. I think that's been bothering a lot of people because she's still calling herself the AEW women's world champion and I'm the one here every week doing the work."

Furthermore, she went on to say that despite the current situation she finds herself in, she is just focused on being a good champion for the company.

"Right now. I guess it's about being a good champion, being a strong champion. That's what I'm up against every day. I'm working harder than I ever had in my entire career. The time is now. I look at every week as just an opportunity to prove myself. I love giving it my all and who knows where we go from here? But all I know is I'm gonna continue to work hard."
