Thunder Rosa is the new AEW Women's World Champion!

Thunder Rosa won the AEW World Championship for the first time on tonight’s AEW Dynamite in San Antonio. Rosa won the match inside of a steel cage.



At AEW Revolution 2022, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. (accompanied by Rebel and Jamie Hayter) defended the AEW Women's World Championship against Thunder Rosa. However, Rosa was unable to capture the title at the event.

After defeating Leyla Hirsch, Thunder Rosa secured another starting opportunity for the AEW Women's Championship. On the March 16th edition of AEW Dynamite, Baker and Rosa pulled off a hell performance and ended with Rosa winning the title.
