Cody Rhodes' shocking departure from AEW, is still looming large among the fans.
The wrestling fans were taken aback when AEW announced that Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes have officially parted ways with the company.
According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon is planning to give Cody Rhodes “a major match at WrestleMania” if Rhodes were to return to WWE.
The locker room began talking last Wednesday Cody and Brandi Rhodes AEW departure when neither were seen in Atlantic City for AEW Dynamite. Leading up to that, many talent were suspicious that Cody Rhodes' entire contract situation had been a work, with a lot of question marks regarding the legitimacy.
However, they came to realize that the situation was real. It became clear to a few by Friday that a deal likely wouldn't be reached, per FightFul.
Ever since the news got dropped, A number of AEW stars have now reacted to the news.
