Dayton, February 1, 2023 - Samoa Joe is the new AEW TNT champion in his second reign.
The main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite (February 1), featured Darby Allin defending the TNT Championship against Samoa Joe. They previoulsy fought back in Seattle, Washington on the January 4, 2023 episode of Dynamite where Allin defeated Samoa Joe to win the TNT Championship for the second time.
However after several successful title defences on weekly television show; Allin's reign came to end on February 1 episode of Dynamite against the Samoa Joe in a No Holds Barred match.
With match being the No Holds Barred, The duo was accessed to use Tables, Chairs and more tools to approach the victory. The match ended with Samoa Joe hitting a Muscle Buster on Darby Allin onto the exposed wood of the ring.
After the match, Samoa Joe suffered an attack from his old Foe as Wardlow came down and started brawling with Joe. Wardlow attempted to powerbomb Joe, but he managed to escape before Joe could do so.
