Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo Have Been Stripped Of AAA Mixed Tag Titles.

It should be noted that Tay Melo & Sammy Guevara were set to appear on AAA's "Noche De Campeones" on 12/28/2022, but it was announced that they would not be appearing at the tapping.

Konnan came down to the ring and revealed that Melo & Guevara will be stripped from the titles for repeated absences from AAA's shows & made the match to crown new Mixed Tag Champions.

Konnan said the following:

"Sammy & Tay have canceled three times, not twice. They wanted their own referee & Tay wanted her own stylist, so I have made a decision. There were three orders of business: Number One, The titles have now been vacated. Number Two: I have already sent someone to the United States to get the titles. And Number Three: Whoever wins this Triple Threat Mix Tag Match will become the new AAA Mixed Tag Champions."

Later, Flammer & Abismo Negro Jr defeated Lady Shani & Octagon Jr and Komander & Sexy Star II to crown the new champions. Though officially champions, the belts were not present in the arena.
