On Monday, social media was abuzz with rumors surrounding Grayson Waller, an NXT star.
Prior to the airing of WWE Raw, multiple Twitter accounts spread the rumor that Waller would make an appearance on the March 20 episode. With Waller set to compete against Johnny Gargano at NXT Stand and Deliver, several speculated that Waller would be involved with Gargano on Raw.
Despite this, Gargano's match against Dominik Mysterio concluded without any appearance from Waller. Moreover, Waller was never intended to appear on WWE Raw and was not included in the creative plans for the March 20 episode.

Fightful Select, stating that Waller was not brought in for the show, and his involvement was never part of the plan. The creative team first became aware of the rumors when asked about them, and they promptly denied them.
