Ruby Soho suffered a broken nose during her match at AEW All Out. Soho has not wrestled since this match but was slated to work for 1PW in the UK on October 1st but had to pull out of the show due to the injury.
Soho teamed up with Ortiz to challenge Ty Conti and Sammy Guevara for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Titles. The finish saw Conti pin Soho after hitting a knee strike to Soho’s face. Soho was assisted by a referee in the backstage area and caught his nose as he bled.
The promotion has now shared a video from Soho, which has confirmed that she will be undergoing surgery for her broken nose. Soho said she hopes to make her 1PW debut at a promotional show on February 18, 2023.
She spoke the following in the video:
"Hey, 1PW fans. It is yours truly, Ruby Soho, here with some disappointing news. Now, due to the injury that I received at All Out, a broken nose in two places and a mess of a septum, I have to have surgery, and due to the scheduling of that surgery and the recovery time, I won’t be able to make it to the show on October 1st."
