Speaking just hours after her AEW debut on a post-show media scrum, Ruby Riott she has never experienced anything like that before.
Ruby Riott now going by Ruby Soho, made her All Elite Wrestling (AEW) debut as the surprise "Joker" entrant in the women's Casino Battle Royale match at the promotion's All Out pay-per-view, using the song "Ruby Soho" for her entrance music.
She won this debut match after eliminating Thunder Rosa, thus earning herself a future match for the AEW Women's World Championship.
"I have never experienced anything like that before,” said Ruby. “To have people have that anticipation for me and for people to want that and for people to get it, and getting excited is something that I think all of us in the wrestling industry that I have four. That moment of just being accepted and wanted and welcomed at this new Incredible company that you work for.
“That's always a scare, right? You're working in a new place, 'Am I going to be accepted? Am I going to fit in?’ It just felt like home immediately from the moment I walked out there and it was just incredible.”
