Roxanne Perez made her WWE debut back in 2022 and quickly rose to fame. She has now been one of the top stars of the NXT brand. Overall, Roxanne Perez had an incredible 2022 with a title win over former WWE NXT star Mandy Rose.

Perez also entered her first Royal Rumble match at the titular event on January 28, 2023. She entered as the eighth entrant and lasted for more than four minutes before being eliminated by Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky).

Most recently, Roxanne Perez had an incredibly hard-hitting offensive match against Meiko Satomura at Roadblock. She successfully defended her title, but after the match, she collapsed and was stretchered out.

In a takeoff of an angle with Shawn Michaels on Raw in the mid-90s, Perez took a number of shots to the head. That led to the injury angle after the match. Following the finish, Booker T checked on Perez. Perez was left on a stretcher. Shawn Michaels also came out to check on Perez as she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Taking to Twitter, WWE issued a statement stating that Roxanne Perez will be kept overnight in the hospital for observation and continued testing.

Now, there is an interesting note that has been making talks. Apparently, someone on the internet took the storyline for real and changed Roxanne’s Google page to show her “deceased.” The page labelling her as “deceased” is still live on Google.
