Pensacola, February 16, 2023 -Roman Reigns has officially hit 900 days as WWE Universal Champion. On Twitter, Roman acknowledged his milestone.
"I told you over 900 days ago this would happen..
#GreatnessAmongstYou ☝🏽🩸," Roman Reigns wrote.
Roman Reigns captured the championship belt at WWE Payback 2020 by defeating Bray Wyatt, and Braun Strowman and he hasn't lost it since. Now, Roman Reigns is holding the WWE Universal Championship for 900 days, which is recognized as the sixth-longest world championship reign in the promotion's history.
Since winning the championship, Reigns has put his title on the line against many top Superstars including Big E, Edge, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and many more.
His next title defense will be at this Year's Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View event. He will face the challenge of Sami Zayn and if he makes it out of Montreal with his title belts, he must face a red-hot Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.
