For sure, Orton is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He has been putting on a hell of a performance for almost twenty years now.
Randy Orton has achieved a couple of great milestones being a singles superstar and now he is pulling off some Tag Team stuff with Riddle. It's been several months since The Viper paired up with Matt Riddle and they are really doing great to pull off a massive pop from the fans.
At SummerSlam, RK-Bro defeated Styles and Omos to become the Raw Tag Team Champions, their first reign each. At Survivor Series, RK-Bro defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso). With this match, Orton broke Kane's record for wrestling the most PPV matches in WWE history.
However, On the January 10, 2022 episode of Raw, RK-Bro lost the titles to Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis), ending their reign at 142 days.
While speaking on Mark Andrews: My Love Letter To Wrestling, Matt Riddle revealed that Vince McMahon stopped Team RK-Bro from breaking up on the first day they teamed up together.
“Teaming with Randy Orton, it was supposed to be one time. He was supposed to turn on me on night one. Then Vince, the crowd, and everybody liked it so much, they were like, ‘Are you guys willing to see if this works?’ I was like, ‘Yeah.’ We liked working with each other. We were friendly. Randy was gone for like three months and I just kept the team afloat, always talking about Randy. I was always talking about Randy and they were like, ‘He’ll be back soon.’ I had no idea when he was coming back.
