The 2023 Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley will have her shot and she will challenge non-other than Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 39.
On the January 30 edition of WWE Raw, Ripley challenged Charlotte to a SmackDown Women's Championship Match at the show of shows. WWE also confirmed the match on their social media channels shortly after.
As of writing, two matches have already been announced for the event. First, Cody Rhodes will challenge Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Plush, It's Rhea Ripley Vs. Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Title.
WWE WrestleMania 39 is scheduled to be held as a two-night event, taking place on April 1 and 2, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California—the original location of WrestleMania 37 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to be relocated.
