As noted, WWE was under heavy criticism after releasing its top superstars due to budget cuts. Many fans were disappointed by WWE's use of many of those wrestlers.
Aleister Black, Murphy, Braun Strowman, Lana, Ruby Riott, and Santana Garrett were all released by the company.
A new report from PWInsider
is stating that there's been some talk that Aleister Black was cut early and a push that the company should bring him back in.
There's been a feeling that of everyone Black was "cut too soon" and was more the victim of shattered promises and start/stop creative more than of anything that he did of his own accord.
He was announced for his first post-WWE appearance on 11/14 at the Big Event in NYC yesterday.
