The 2022 ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV has officially become the 4th biggest live attendance in ROH history.
On a media scrum following Death Before Dishonor, Tony Khan announced that Death Before Dishonor is now one of the four top four pay-per-view events in the history of Ring of Honor in terms of pay-per-view buys.
Per Tony Khan's announcement Death Before Dishonor PPV is “approaching 25,000 buys just digitally” not including traditional buys. He said the event is the 4th biggest live attendance in ROH history, making it the highest attendance for a non-Wrestlemania weekend event.
“I know for sure that it is going to be one of the three biggest pay-per-views in the over 20 year history of Ring of Honor, even higher than Supercard of Honor, which was already one of the three biggest. Now our two that we’ve done are two of the four biggest of all time along with Supercard at Madison Square Garden and All In. This is also in the top four attendance and is the highest attendance ever for a Ring of Honor show that is not at WrestleMania week,” said Tony Khan.
Later in the scrum, Tony noted that the pay-per-view is approaching 25,000 digital buys.
The 2022 Death Before Dishonor was held on July 23, 2022, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. It was ROH's first live event under the full ownership of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) president Tony Khan.
