Orlando, February 4, 2023 - NXT headed to Charlotte, North Carolina tonight for its first streaming special of 2023. Vengeance Day streamed live on Peacock/WWE Network at 8 p.m. Eastern time. There was also a pre-show leading into the event.
The event kicked off with an excellent, action-packed match between Wes Lee and Dijak for the NXT North American Championship. During the match, Somewhere in this madness, we got a closeup shot of Dijak's gnarly dislocated finger. The match ended up with Lee following up with the handspring Pele Kick to win and retain the title.
Following that spot, Dijak has apparently suffered a broken finger. After his match, Dijak took to Twitter and shared a closer look at the photo. It seems like he will need surgery to get it fixed.
