A Mixed Tag-Team match has also been added to the June 29, 2021 episode of NXT.

As announced, Mercedes Martinez & Jake Atlas will take on Xia Li & Boa in a mixed Tag-Team match next week on NXT.



Xia Li has previously defeated Mercedes Martinez at NXT TakeOver: In Your House (2021). Seeking an advantage ahead of Sunday's TakeOver clash, Xia Li took out Mercedes Martinez before she could even hit the ring against Amari Miller.

On June 22, episode of NXT, Xia Li attacked Mercedes Martinez in a backstage area, while, Jake Atlas came forward to make the save and added himself to the match.
