Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy And Luchasaurus) defeated the previous champions The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix) on the January 5th edition of AEW Dynamite.

The Lucha Brothers won the titles by defeating previous champions The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) on September 5, 2021 at All Out in a Steel Cage match in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
