Jungle Boy Legitimately Injured During AEW Dynamite Taping

The rosters of both WWE and AEW have been bitten by the injury bug in recent months. Thanks to injuries from the likes of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Bryan Danielson, both companies have needed to drop major plans for their pay-per-views, turning the Summer of 2022 into something quite different than originally planned.

Yet another top AEW star is reportedly out of action due to injury. At AEW Dynamite: Road Rager on June 15, Christian Cage brutalized Jungle Boy after Jurassic Express lost the AEW Tag Team Championship to the Young Bucks.

Following the attack, Jungle Boy was stretchered out of the arena, apparently ducking another AEW star in the injury bug. However, since then, there was a lot of misconduct over the concern that Jungle Boy was genuinely hurt, while, others speculated that the stretcher job could’ve been to sell the beatdown.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has now confirmed that Jungle Boy is legitimately injured, noting that we can now ‘add Jungle Boy to the lengthy injury list for AEW.
