It's unclear what they would be planning for Roman Reigns going forward. However, according to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Roman will be on the card, and not just that, but he’ll be in the main event.
Dave noted that Roman Reigns is in fact in the main event, and they’ll shoot the angle on Friday, no more information was given, but he is in the main event on the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view.
Looking back on the past few weeks of SmackDown, his opponent would be Shinsuke Nakamura, who was recently defeated by The Usos, but this is WWE so it could really be anyone at this stage.
