Fans have not seen Goldberg in the ring since WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 against Roman Reigns, which was the last remaining match on his WWE contract.
Although he eliminated many of his mandatory matches, Goldberg told the New York Post's Joseph Staszewski that he is under a WWE contract and is looking forward to a call if necessary.
“I’m still waiting for that one [call] to happen one of these days,” Goldberg said. “But I suppose you never retire in the wrestling world until you’re dead, so who knows.”
The former WWE Universal Champion admitted that he may never get the call, but he will be ready. Goldberg said he still "has not been bitten because you never know when the phone is going to ring." He also noted that he is "in pretty good shape right now" compared to where he was.
Goldberg is Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He debuted on the March 31 episode of Raw (the night after WrestleMania XIX) and starting a feud with The Rock by performing a spear on him.
