Orlando, February 4, 2023 - NXT Vengeance Day event didn't go well for Apollo Crews who attempted to get things straight.
Tonight at NXT Vengeance Day, Apollo Crews took on Carmelo Hayes in Two Straight Falls match and ended up making a loss for himself. Apprently, Dabba-Kato (Commander Azeez) added insult to his loss and returned only to turn on his former partner quickly.
After the match, Dabba Kato laid out Crews with a chokebomb on a chair. Why try to help him win the match then? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Dabba Kato made his professional wrestling debut at the NXT house show in Orlando, Florida on September 30, 2016, competing in a Battle Royal. He has also appeared on Night 2 of WrestleMania 37 on April 11, 2021, where he helped Apollo Crews win the Intercontinental Championship from Big E.
