Houston, May 16, 2021: Is the winner of Dustin Poirier Vs. Conor McGregor up next for the Lightweight title?...Well, we don't possibly know about the next lineup, but Conor McGregor has shown up his will to be the Twelve UFC Lightweight champion.

Conor McGregor took to his Twitter to Congratulate Olivera on becoming the 11th UFC lightweight champion and then put the next reign on the notice.

"Congrats to Olivera on becoming the 11th UFC lightweight champion. Wonder who Twelve is...," Conor McGregor wrote this on Twitter.

As noted, After being dropped by Chandler in the first round, he won the fight via technical knockout early in the second round to claim the UFC Lightweight Championship.

With this gold victory, Oliveira breaks the record set by Michael Bisping at UFC 199 for most UFC fights needed to win UFC gold. Bisping needed 26. Oliveira breaks it at 28. And he’s only 31.
