Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Champion in his sixth reign and seems like he has broken record with his recent title win.
As noted, Lesnar was scheduled to face Reigns for the title, this time at the Day 1 event. However, the match was canceled due to Reigns contracting COVID-19, and Lesnar was instead added to Raw's WWE Championship match at the event to make it a fatal five-way match.
At Day 1, Lesnar won his sixth WWE Championship, defeating Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and defending champion Big E, who he pinned.
It's being reported on the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lesnar is now the star with the longest time between his first WWE Title reign and his latest.
According to the report, This record was previously owned by Hulk Hogan, with 18 years separating The Hulkster’s 1984 and 2002 title reigns. Bob Backlund had 17 years between his first and last WWE Championship wins, in 1977 and 1994 respectively.
