Bayley Admits Her Body Is Still Catching Up To The Schedule

Views: 84 | Updated On: | By Jitu Jangir

Bayley is one of the most popular female wrestlers in WWE. She is a record-breaking SmackDown Women's Champion and excels at portraying both babyface and heels. Due to some reason, she has not been able to be a part of WrestleMania Monet yet.

The role model succumbed to an ACL injury while training at the WWE Performance Center, which forced her High to stay away from the company for over a year. She eventually returned during WWE SummerSlam with Dakota Kai and IYO Skye.

Speaking on "The Five Counts" podcast, Bailey talked about adjusting to WWE's currently busy schedule. Bailey admitted that her body is still going according to schedule.

“It has been pretty hard, to be honest,” Bayley admitted. “It’s been a lot of fun and I’ve been doing things that I’ve never done before and it’s been an honor being on all the shows, just running wild on all the shows, but my body is so confused. I was home for a year rehabbing and now it’s like, ‘Oh wait, you still do this? Do you still wrestle? Do you still travel like a mad woman?’ So, now that my body and my immune system is catching up to the travel schedule again I’ll be alright. WWE lifestyle is so wild, but I’ve been having such a great time.”

Bayley and WWE RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair were scheduled for WWE Extreme Rules where Bayley would challenge Belair for the Raw Women's Title. Following this week's episode, the match will be a ladder match where Belair will defend her title against Bayley. We'll have to wait to see if Belair won't be able to defend her title.
