Last night on Raw, AJ Styles and Omos took on Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio in a Number One Contender Tournament Finals Match. During the match Styles wanted a tag, but Omos refused to make it. Thus, they lost the match.
After the match, Omos shoved him back. In response, Styles attacked his Own Personal Colossus. When he tried to hit the Phenomenal Forearm, however, his enormous tag team partner caught him, hoisted Styles into the air and hurled him eight feet down to the canvas.
Omos then made it clear that the next time Styles saw him, it would be in a match against him.
According to the latest update from
WrestleVotes, both superstars have significant plans in early 2022 and wanted any type of blowoff program done prior to the major Rumble & Mania events.
