Toronto, February 2, 2023 - Aliyah looks faded as she hasn't often used it on WWE television since making her main roster debut.
She signed with WWE in 2015 under a developmental contract, to observe that, Aliyah has spent a well-packed decade in NXT, apparently establishing as one of the top stars.
She made her main roster debut on the November 5 edition of SmackDown in 2021 where she was involved in a backstage segment with Jeff Hardy and Sami Zayn. However, all the good tracks were abruptly dropped from WWE television.
And it seems like, her absence from WWE Television has led a major frustration within Aliyah. She hasn’t wrestled a match since dropping the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in September last year. Also, there has been a hard push from her side to make a comeback, but all the efforts seem to faint down.
In a now-deleted thread of tweets, Aliyan was asked about the reason behind her absence from WWE TV. While replying she said, “Umm, i don’t know…”. A fan suggested that she do backstage shoots and she responded by writing, “If only I was backstage.” When a fan commented on her possibly being in WWE 2K23, she wrote “Sorry to let you down” as a response.
