PEOPLE.com has provided an update on the late Sara Lee, who won WWE Tough Enough before passing away in October.

According to an insider quoted by PEOPLE, Sara Lee was heavily drinking on the night of her passing and was subsequently discovered by her husband, former WWE wrestler Westin Blake (real name Cory James Weston).

As per the source quoted by PEOPLE, Weston had returned home from work and had taken their children out before discovering Lee's passing when he came back home. The insider described it as a sudden event and clarified that it was accidental rather than intentional.

The insider also mentioned that there were no indications or warning signs, and that Lee's behavior was completely unexpected. They stated that Lee was not the type of person one would associate with such an incident, providing no further details.

In 2015, Lee emerged as the winner of Tough Enough, earning herself a $250,000 WWE contract. Although she participated in wrestling matches at house shows, she was not ultimately offered a main roster deal.
