Cage Match: Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley

The stage has been set for a brutal showdown as AEW recently announced that the highly-anticipated steel cage match between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega will take place on the May 10th episode of AEW Dynamite. Following an electrifying episode of Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley fearlessly accepted the challenge laid down by his rival, Kenny Omega, to engage in a no-holds-barred, steel-cage faceoff.

Omega had issued this bold challenge in a post-show segment, shortly after the savage and vicious attack orchestrated by Bryan Danielson and the BCC, who ruthlessly gouged Konosuke Takeshita with a screwdriver, leaving the audience reeling with shock and horror at the viciousness of the assault. Nonetheless, undeterred and unfazed by the brutality on display, Omega seized the opportunity to issue the challenge to his rival, Jon Moxley, setting the stage for what promises to be an epic showdown of titanic proportions.

A legendary rivalry has been brewing between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega within the hallowed halls of AEW. The seeds of this epic feud were first sown when Moxley made his debut by launching a surprise attack on Omega at the AEW Double or Nothing event in 2019, sending shockwaves throughout the wrestling world.

Over the years, these two fierce warriors have engaged in a series of intense battles, each one raising the stakes higher than the last. In 2020, Omega emerged victorious, winning the coveted AEW World Title after defeating Moxley in a hard-fought battle at AEW Winter Is Coming. However, their epic clashes did not end there.

The two titans once again collided in a pulse-pounding, blood-soaked battle at AEW Revolution in 2021, in a match that will go down in history as one of the most intense and violent ever seen. This time, they faced off in an explosive "exploding barbed wire deathmatch", which left both wrestlers battered and bruised, but Moxley emerged victorious, cementing his status as a true legend in the wrestling world.

AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Daniel Garcia

The illustrious AEW International Championship will be fiercely contested as the laconic yet captivating Orange Cassidy defends his title against the tenacious Daniel Garcia. These two formidable competitors already clashed in a gripping eight-man tag team match on the May 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, and their impending singles bout is sure to leave fans on the edge of their seats.

We'll hear from FTR

Furthermore, we shall have the distinct privilege of hearing from the esteemed AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR, comprised of the supremely skilled Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood. After Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal brazenly challenged the champs to a title match at AEW Double Or Nothing on the May 3 episode of Dynamite, FTR is undoubtedly eager to set the record straight and assert their dominance over the tag team division.
